Bachand Group has had the opportunity to manage multiple Section 236 properties for many years. Our team of professionals works with many ownership entities that have entered into this type of contract. We provide all of the income verifications and tenant screenings for our clients. Section 236 has many complexities not found in other governmental subsidies. Our staff is well versed in these ever changing regulations and continues to receive rave reviews from our existing clients.
The HUD Section 236 is a federally subsidized program that was passed to help low income individuals and families receive adequate housing. The apartment complexes for this program always have a minimum rent (basic rent) amount and a maximum (market rent) rent amount established by HUD. An applicant’s rent is based on 30% of their monthly adjusted income as long as it is above the minimum rent and below the maximum rent that is already established. Bachand Group understands the complications that come with Section 236 properties and excels at managing the work involved while maintaining consummate professionalism. We service our clients’ needs to the fullest extent and are excited about working with our many new clients in the years to come. |
